Head of Technical Resourcing
As head of Contechs Technical Resourcing, Mandy has a key role in overseeing the work of the entire recruitment team at the Basildon site. Mandy ensures all the consultants are fully versed in the latest employment and recruitment law and Government initiatives, maintaining continuous improvement of the company’s service to its clients and candidates. Mandy also has a hands-on role as a MIRP and CertRP qualified recruiter, continuing to successfully secure the right people for the right positions.
As well as an honours degree in Business Studies, Mandy gained extensive experience in automotive recruitment in four successful years working as a technical recruiter for MSX International prior to joining Contechs in 2004.
Away from work Mandy enjoys regular cinema trips and never misses an episode of Top Gear.
Human Resources Manager
In her role as Human Resources Manager, Lydia supports the HR requirements of all the businesses under the Contechs umbrella, including Technical Resources as a Co-ordinator Team Leader.
Lydia has an honours degree in business administration and an IPD certificate in personnel practice. She joined Contechs in 2008, first working as a Project Planning Manager in the trimming division before moving to the role of Human Resources Manager in 2011.
She has been involved in human resources aspects of business throughout her career and welcomed the opportunity to develop her skills further in her work for Contechs.
In her free time Lydia enjoys visiting the gym and spending time with family and friends.
Contractor Care Manager
Hayley brings expert knowledge and extensive experience to her role as Contract Care Manager, providing a one-stop contact point for our contract staff, giving support on any issues they may encounter when joining the Contechs family, and answering any questions arising during their day-to-day activities. We know that there will be times when contractors may need help with administrative and procedural matters, so Hayley is on hand to assist as our dedicated care manager so you can concentrate on the job in hand.
She is perfectly equipped for her role, with MIRP and CertRP qualifications and 14 years’ experience in automotive recruitment, giving her in-depth knowledge of all the procedural formalities our contractors may encounter. Prior to joining Contechs Hayley worked with MSX International and Tiro Associates.
Hayley enjoys gym work-outs and relaxing with a good mystery thriller novel.
Recruitment Team Leader
Kasia operates from our Warwick offices as a Recruitment team leader.
She holds a MA in English Philology and Teaching English as a Second Language
Her interests include travelling and cooking.
Bianca joined Contechs as a Trainee Recruiter in 2013, having previously worked as a Liaison and Planning Officer for an internationally renowned prestige manufacturer. Bianca, having successfully transferred her client-facing skills, ability and understanding of the automotive market, has now migrated into her current role of Recruitment Supervisor.
Bianca graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with an honours degree in psychology. She has recently passed her qualification in recruitment practice which has aided her with the knowledge of recruitment legislation required to work within the recruitment industry.
Outside work Bianca enjoys time in the gym and travelling overseas.
Louise joined Contechs as Recruitment Administrator in 2011 and has since made rapid progress to her current role of Senior Technical Recruiter. With the benefit of learning the business from ground up, she has firm grasp of the fundamentals of Contechs’ operations on which to build her career in Technical Resourcing.
Louise is a keen runner and has busy schedule of cross-country and half marathon events. Through her running she recently raised £1,000 for the Lung Cancer Foundation Trust.
Carla has 9 years' experience in the recruitment industry, working with clients at both national and international level. Joined Contechs as a Technical Recruiter and she is responsible for resourcing candidates from the global Automotive sectors. Fluent in Spanish and English and a native Portuguese speaker provides multi lingual support for candidates and clients.
Due to her personal experience of moving between countries in Europe she is well placed to assist with candidate's transition to the UK.
Mihaela is a Technical Recruiter to supply professional staff for UK and Europe Automotive clients. In Romania, she used to work for a global Tier 1 supplier in automotive industry. Mihaela has a Master’s degree focused in Management and Development of Human Resources. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and jogging.
Adele has recently joined the Technical Resourcing Team working as a Technical Recruiter. Joining Contechs in January 2017 with 18 Months experience within Automotive Recruitment as a Recruiter, prior to that a history of working as an Administrator within sectors such as the insulation industry and Catering.
She specialises in contract recruitment for the automotive industry for automotive, commercial and professional opportunities.
Out of work she enjoys visiting the gym, long walks with her dog and spending time with family and friends.
Ellie joined Contechs in March 2018 in the Technical Resourcing Team as a Trainee Technical Recruiter. Ellie gives recruitment support to OEM clients and suppliers. She specialises in contract and permanent recruitment for the automotive industry for engineering, commercial and professional opportunities. Having over 3 years’ experience within Commercial Recruitment as a Recruiter, she felt like she wanted to explore the automotive sector. Ellie’s down to-earth and professional approach enables both client’s and candidates alike to feel at ease while discussing new opportunities that she help them with. Outside of work Ellie enjoys spending time with family and friends and travelling abroad.
Contractor Care Administrator
Lauren is our Contractor Care Administrator.
Her background and experience help ensure fast response to client and customer requirements, and she is also able to keep her colleagues constantly up-to-date with the latest developments in the business.
In her spare time Lauren enjoys going to the gym, watching football and world travel to learn about different cultures.
